An outside temperature of 0°C can have an effect on your battery, causing it to lose up to 10% of autonomy and reducing the duration of your journeys.

Here are some tips for preserving your electric bike's battery life in cold weather:

  1. Check that your battery charge rate is sufficient before embarking on a long journey.

  2. Use a low assist mode.

  3. Use the pedals more, which has the effect of requiring less assistance when going uphill or when you are loaded.

To maximize its lifespan, it is important to recharge your electric bike's battery regularly. Unlike some batteries, lithium batteries do not need to be completely discharged before being recharged.
