Taking your electric bike on the train
To take a bike on the train in France, there are several options and rules to follow depending on the type of train you take. If it’s disassembled, your bike can generally be transported free of charge in a bag, with dimensions that may vary depending on the train. Since the Yuvy is not foldable, for TGV, Intercités, and Eurostar trains, you must reserve a spot for your bike (the fee ranges from 5 to 15 euros). Thalys only accepts disassembled bikes. On TER trains, you can board with your bike for free, but space may be limited.
Mounting your electric bike on the back of a car
If you’re traveling far and need to use your car, a good solution is to bring your electric bike so you can get around freely once you arrive.

Stretching 1240 km, it is the longest cycling route in France. It follows the Atlantic coast from Roscoff in Brittany to Hendaye in the Basque Country and Spain.
It is considered one of the most beautiful cycle routes in Europe with its stunning landscapes, beaches, forests, charming small villages, and historic towns along the way. It is accessible to all levels of cyclists with a mostly flat route.
As its name suggests, this route follows the Loire River for 900 kilometers, between Nevers in Burgundy and Saint-Brévin-les-Pins on the Atlantic coast, where it connects with La Vélodyssée.
